Celebrity

Like the "Paparazzi" picture complete with (Gasp) an Engagement ring?!
Yes, I am a nerd. No, I'm not engaged! ;P

So if you guys haven't already guessed it, these stunning earrings are Sorrelli!!!
That's right I'm still Obsessed in a BIG way...
Like the size of these earrings big! ;)

I was inspired to create this fusion new hollywood/old hollywood look to compliment them!
I kept the outfit itself very simple with the staple jeans and white t-shirt.
To add a bit of glamour and mystery I slung this vintage blush beaded coat over my shoulders.
(Very Zsa Zsa in my opinion.)

**Locals**
Don't forget that the Sorrelli event at The Bead Garden starts in 9 days from the posting of this blog!!!
Mark your calendar and tell all of your family and friends!!!
There will be prize drawings for those in attendance and you won't want to miss these crazy deals!!!
It's happening April 25th and 26th.

Miscellaneous

Here's a little collection of pictures that I just never got around to posting at the time!
Enjoy some behind the scenes and little introductions, you know the usual disorganized mess that you have come to know as my blog! ;)

A look at the photo shoot from a month ago!
The beautiful Peruvian babe Isabella getting prepped for the day's shoot!
Brenna concentrating on her makeup application like a boss!
Just a few adjustments to the hair.
Ta-Da Isa is all ready to go!
 Happy faces all around!
Jess (The Amazing photographer) getting the hair out of my face!
Isabella shot these behind the scenes photos while I was pretending to be a fairy princess! ;)
And if you were ever curious about what we look like in the moment... here you go!
Jess with her camera baby and Brenna with her cell phone instagraming the whole affair!

This is all from a previous photo shoot that took two days out of our schedules to do.
If you follow my instagram or any of these ladies' then you might have seen the results of this photo shoot, we did a little bit of levitating! ;)

AVEN!!!

This handsome devil is my very talented, very funny and very tall friend Aven!
He is a budding filmmaker/actor and someone you will want to keep your eye on!
I got to eat lunch and catch up with him at the super classy and delicious Waffle House while he was back in town.
And then take these awesome pictures of him and his trusty cow dog Jake.
Seriously one of the coolest guys I know.
Check out snipPITTS for some of his amazing work! :)
You won't be disappointed!

And here are some random pictures I took that just make me happy!
Always check your water hose before you attach it, you never know who is making camp inside.
(For those probably thinking "Piper has a man thumb" it's my dad's, he found this cute little guy.)
Savannah, one of our family friends, giving Colton a mud mask.

"It's not a race; it's a journey.
Enjoy the moment."
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

I try to stay pretty consistent about posting on here but due to some technical difficulties, vacation and a busier schedule than usual I have been a poor blogger!
Thank you for staying with me and coming back for more!

Boho Bride

If you can't tell I had a lot of fun with this set of Sorrelli jewelry!
The color is called AfterGlow and I am OBSESSED!!!
And yes that super sparkly mass of crystals on my head is in fact a necklace!
I have a tendency of wearing things the way I want to instead of the way that it was intended!
I wouldn't necessarily wear this on my head for an everyday look but for an Elegant/Bohemian bride I think it's perfect!

Fairies In The Garden

Can we take a second to admire all of the loveliness that is this photograph?!
I had a wonderful time working with some of my dear friends over the holiday break!
I am so blessed to have such talented and motivated friends!
The amazing photographer is by J.Schell, She has such an eye for photography and beautiful composition!
The hair and makeup was done by my other friend Brenna of BrennaBeauty(The girl in the blue).
The other model was my friend Ilyssa who is also a professional hair and makeup artist!
The fashion styling was my job and boy did I have fun with this one!
Who wouldn't like styling an enchanted fairy garden like shoot on the grounds of a historic plantation house in the deep south?!
A crazy person!!!

For more photos from this shoot  and others like it check out the J.Schell tumblr page jesschell.tumblr.com!
Seriously you will wonder why you haven't seen her stuff yet(and become addicted) if you haven't already!

Bohemian Androgyny

Here's a look for that bohemian babe who doesn't want their outfit to scream "I'm wearing pink because it's valentine's day!!!"
The top is actually a very soft blush of a pink.
This outfit makes me think Tom Sawyer meets Free People meets Piper(I don't iron anything)!
This would be cute for a sweet picnic or a hike with your honey!
Minus the earrings for the hiking everything else is perfect!
The earrings are vintage and used to be my moms for a long time before she gave them to me!
I remember trying them on all the time when I was little and shaking my head just to hear them jingle.

I hope this gave someone a hint of inspiration for their Valentines day get up!
I think that I will be doing a couple of more outfits for you guys and maybe even some men's outfit ideas!
This look is actually pretty androgynous so if you are a guy and you like this look, Go for it!
Also if you saw yesterday's post you might wonder why I skipped jewelry as a good gift!
To be honest I think jewelry is a tricky one for guys to nail, although if you are 100% confident that you have your lovely lady friend's style down pat then you go Glenn Coco!
Bonus points if it's something you remember her mentioning in passing!!!

Well my friends I hope you are having a lovely day and lots of
xoxo's !

Back To School 3 1/2 Ways

While watching a back to school makeup tutorial on YouTube I decided I want to do something too!!!
So I decided to style a sweatshirt a few different ways!
Why a sweatshirt?
I bought this last year on sale for $1.00!!!
It's just a regular Hanes sweatshirt from Wal-Mart that is accessible to so many people!
Another reason is because fall is here (even if it doesn't feel like it here yet) and I wanted to make sure you got as much use out of this tutorial as possible!

I used the dress code from my old high school as a guide I hope it is compatible with other dress codes too!

The first look has a studious feel with a printed button up worn beneath the sweatshirt, I scrunched the sleeves so that the look wouldn't seem too uptight.
The jeans are cropped but I still had to roll them to reach the desired length!
Simple bracelets and a pair of leopard flats finish the look!

The second look has a bohemian/skater/flirty vibe to it!
I know that's a lot but that's the only way I can describe it!
The same Sweatshirt is tucked into a tie dyed skater skirt (I wear bloomers from my cheer leading days underneath in case of a breeze) and plenty of accessories.
A silver statement necklace I'm sure you have seen before and a little arm party of which the mermaid Piperbydesign bracelet is one!(Shameless self promotion I know but wouldn't you?)
Last but not least a pair of boys shoes I bought at old navy and have had in constant rotation ever since!

This is where the 3 and a 1/2 comes in!
You can wear this look two ways!
The top pictures are the obvious choice while the bottom photos brings back memories of Disney's          boy meets world/your most embarrassing "accident".
Yes I said that and yes this trend is coming back, just like overalls and midriff peek-a-boo.
The last I will NOT be taking part in but the first two I'm so there!

This outfit screams confidence from the bright paisley print to the vintage rhinestone earrings!
The white v-neck is Hanes and the printed pants are Levi's!
Of course I can't leave out these cute color block heels I recently got at CATO's!
The earrings I bought from a dear friend and I LOVE them!
***TIP***
When wearing heels to school pick a pair of comfortable wedges and wear them on block days, you walk half as much!

I hope this was helpful and everyone is enjoying back to school season!
If it wasn't helpful I wore sweats in 90 degree weather in humid Florida for nothing!
^-^ It really wasn't that bad, the worst part was the light constantly changing... and the mosquitoes.
Mostly the mosquitoes.
