For Him

Here it is, my gift guide for the guys!!!
I know it's all pretty self explanatory when you see the picture right in front of you but let me explain so this post has more substance!

The Blanket is perfect for the romantic guy you could pack a picnic for and it can also be used for a night of stargazing. (le sigh) <Catch the Pepe Le Pew reference? It IS his favorite holiday!

The GoPro HERO 3 makes a great gift for the adrenaline junky/aspiring film maker, They have a few different models out now and if your guy already has the actual camera try getting him one of the many camera mounts so he can use it in style!
(I know I used the HERO 2 in the picture but that is the one my brothers' use! ;))

The Cologne(AQUA DI GIO) and watch(Fossil) are for the more sophisticated guys that care about appearances.

The beats and the Guitar pick shaped deck of cards is for the music lover.

The bow ties are vintage and adorable meant for the adorkable guy who digs that kind of stuff!
Adorkable is a good thing if anyone was wondering!

All of these things are just suggestions to give you some inspiration you can mix things up to suit your guy or you don't even have to choose any of these items at all!
I hope no one ever thinks that I'm saying BUY THIS because I say so!
I just want to give a visual aid, if you will, for those who are looking for suggestions! ^_^

Did you notice that the ladies gifts were shades of pink and now the guy's things are mostly red?!
I did plan the pink but this time the red and black thing just kind of happened!
It was too cool not to point out!
I hope this helped ladies!

XOXO

Bohemian Androgyny

Here's a look for that bohemian babe who doesn't want their outfit to scream "I'm wearing pink because it's valentine's day!!!"
The top is actually a very soft blush of a pink.
This outfit makes me think Tom Sawyer meets Free People meets Piper(I don't iron anything)!
This would be cute for a sweet picnic or a hike with your honey!
Minus the earrings for the hiking everything else is perfect!
The earrings are vintage and used to be my moms for a long time before she gave them to me!
I remember trying them on all the time when I was little and shaking my head just to hear them jingle.

I hope this gave someone a hint of inspiration for their Valentines day get up!
I think that I will be doing a couple of more outfits for you guys and maybe even some men's outfit ideas!
This look is actually pretty androgynous so if you are a guy and you like this look, Go for it!
Also if you saw yesterday's post you might wonder why I skipped jewelry as a good gift!
To be honest I think jewelry is a tricky one for guys to nail, although if you are 100% confident that you have your lovely lady friend's style down pat then you go Glenn Coco!
Bonus points if it's something you remember her mentioning in passing!!!

Well my friends I hope you are having a lovely day and lots of
xoxo's !

Playing With Fire

 Happy Birthday USA!!!

So this fourth of July was so rainy we only did sparklers.
That's okay though because sparklers are one of my favorite ones to do!!!

I am so thankful to have been born and raised in this country that I call home!
I am grateful to the men and women who have served to keep this country free, fighting way back in it's infancy even before 1776!
Most of us in the U.S. didn't originate from this land our forefathers paved the way so that we could live in the land  of the free and the home of the brave.
Let's not disappoint them by taking advantage of this land and it's opportunities without taking care of it and our fellow man.
We are still one nation under God, that isn't me pushing my beliefs, it is a simple fact.
I hope that we never forget that and become too proud to acknowledge where our strength lies.
Just some of my thoughts this 4th! :)

What I'm wearing!!!
The scarf is from Ollie Mae's boutique you can like them on Facebook!
The top is a Liz Claiborne I found at a thrift store recently with the tags still on it! Score!!!

Makeup!
I didn't really do much since I didn't go anywhere but I didn't want to be completely bare faced!
Are you red-dy by Maybelline.
A few swipes of the Falsies Volume Express Flared mascara also from Maybelline!
I put Physicians Formula Light Bronze Pearl on the highest points of my cheeks and that was it!

That handsome brute in the pictures is my little brother who takes most of my pictures for Outfit posts!
He made a better heart than I did so we used his picture! hehe!
He also has a twin brother who was too tired to play with sparklers!!!

Also I've been loving the song Please don't say you love me by Gabrielle Aplin!!!
You will thank me later if you look it up!!!

That's it for today Loves!
