Fairies In The Garden

Can we take a second to admire all of the loveliness that is this photograph?!

I had a wonderful time working with some of my dear friends over the holiday break!

I am so blessed to have such talented and motivated friends!

The amazing photographer is by J.Schell, She has such an eye for photography and beautiful composition!

The hair and makeup was done by my other friend Brenna of BrennaBeauty(The girl in the blue).

The other model was my friend Ilyssa who is also a professional hair and makeup artist!

The fashion styling was my job and boy did I have fun with this one! 

Who wouldn't like styling an enchanted fairy garden like shoot on the grounds of a historic plantation house in the deep south?!

A crazy person!!!

The Bronze Crab

 "Look what I can do!"

 My Grandmother loves the sea and all of the little creatures in it. (Which is funny because she can't swim)

 So for Christmas this year I thought about buying her a beautiful crab print that I saw and loved! 

 Then I thought to myself, "Why don't I take a crack at it?!"

I've been painting little things here and there lately but this has been my most intricate painting so far! 

I'm glad that I decided to try! 

 I used an old dictionary page for my "canvas" and two different shades of bronze paint.

I also looked at different kinds of crabs but this one looks the most like a stone crab!

If I ever paint a Blue crab it will have to be in color to do it justice!

 So far this crab has been my favorite and most detailed painting that I've done so far!

I'm by no means a professional but I enjoy doing it and giving these as very special yet inexpensive gifts! 

 Tis the season for baking!!!

 I made brownies but took them to a church event without taking pictures of the finished product!

They were delicious!!!

 This evening at twilight everything had a pink glow!

I guess I have to admit that the best painter who ever was and ever will be is our Heavenly Father.

I hope everyone is enjoying all of the festivities of this time of year!!!

Tin Man

 Mandatory "Robot dance" photo.

 So these are the pictures from Kayla's birthday/Art exhibit.

We were asked by one of our closest friends to paint ourselves silver in the name of art, fun and friendship.

What did we say to this? 

HECK YES!!!

 We walked because it wasn't that far and we got some pretty awesome looks from the people of Thomasville, Georgia.

 Which one of these is not like the others?

 Getting into position...... and then staying there for an hour VERY still.

 This is our friend Emily who helped to create this night of awesomeness and invited us to take part.

 Breaking character for a photo op!

 The birthday girl who's eyes perfectly matched the silver paint! 

People were asking if she was wearing contacts especially for the event! 

 Thomasville is one of those sweet southern towns that oozes charm.
