Abandoned

FYI, I couldn't take full breaths in this dress!
Another fabulous and fun photo shoot with SassySisterVintage!
We've been to this abandoned building before for one other photo shoot and we really loved the pictures so we went back!
The Building has really started to be taken back by nature and  it's crazy how much it has changed in such a short amount of time!
The fabulous other model is Azurea who also has a blog, http://adventuresofaz.blogspot.com.
You  can check her out and show your support! :)
Thanks for stopping by and as always when I post on Sundays I tend to keep it short!
Until next time!

A Monkey Jumping On the Bed

The Handsome man calls me monkey Piper and ironically enough I did in fact hurt my neck while trying to get these pictures!
I'm all better now and I wouldn't have mentioned it but it was too coincidental!
More vintage from SassySisterVintage!
This time every piece was feminine and sweet, I would wear these myself!
How cute would these dresses be at a picnic or a wedding shower tea party!
The white would even be cute as a garden wedding dress the sash is already something blue! :)

Wild roses on the side of the road!
I do believe I will be coming back for a photo shoot sometime!
Just catching starry lights in the next room.
Let me call you sweet heart I'm in love with you, Let me hear you whisper that you love me too.

Until next time friends!

Vanity Fair

Welcome to the wedding expo that took place in the Chipley AG center.
I was asked to help decorate the BrennaBeauty booth as well as be a hair model by Brenna.
Here are some behind the scenes photos from before, during and after the wedding expo.
Brenna and Caroline carefully selecting the pictures of hair and makeup work from Brenna's portfolio.
I helped of course but someone had to document! :)
The idea for the booth was a vintage vanity set up.
I always get nostalgic when I see an old vanity and wonder how many times and how many people have used it for putting on their lipstick and making sure their hair was just right.
Although I didn't bring my entire vanity I did bring a few pieces that rest on it everyday.
We displayed several photos in one large vintage frame by placing Brenna's card holder behind the frame and propping the entire thing against a metal dress form that Caroline has had for years.
Brenna's business cards and seashell collection.
The bridal bouquet that we used was actually Brenna's mother's from her wedding day!
Just a fun fact for everyone! ^_^

Finishing touches.
And we were open for business!!!
More vintage details!
The jewelry box is one of my favorite vintage finds and one of the things I keep on my own vanity!
Brenna and her two hair models!
Caroline on the left and me on the right!
While I didn't wear a wedding dress I did wear a vintage white dress that was reminiscent of one!
The dress was one that I got from Kim of SassySisterVintage and it's one of my favorites!
A closeup of crazy gorgeous Caroline!
Spanish moss is so pretty and one great indicator that you are in the south!
The sun was directly in my face but this is the only picture that really shows the entire dress at once!
Brenna of BrennaBeauty the lovely lady herself does hair, makeup as well as photography for all of your special occasions!
Like her Facebook page BrennaBeauty for more information and ways to contact her!

Thank you to Brenna for asking me to come along to the wedding expo and for doing my hair!
Especially for letting my camera crash the party!!!
OH! And for taking these pictures after the day at the expo was over!

Mossy Birdcages

Right before we began shooting!!!
This set will forever be in my dreams!!!
I see you Azurea!

 That's a wrap!
Another fun (but not without hard work) filled photo shoot for SassySisterVintage!
It was great having Azurea there with Kim and I again!
It seems our little family is growing!!!
And how cute is our set?!
Kim set it all up by herself and made it look fantastic!!!
Can we take a second to acknowledge that Kim already had that Amazing birdcage, table and chair?!
Yes, it is all a part of her everyday home decor!

If you are interested in most all of the things that you see in this post then click the sassy sister link above!
It will take you directly to Kim's vintage wonderland of an online etsy shop!!!

I'm sure it's obvious but all of the pictures that I'm in Kim took and all of the ones that I'm not in I took!
Just in case you were curious!

Grand Central Station

Kim's luggage collection that we stacked and used as the background.
Meet Azurea, an aspiring model and my newest friend!
 Wedding dresses!!!

Uptown Girl.

These were our favorite outfits, Kim put these together with the great Ralph Lauren as her inspiration!
Next thing you know we will be riding polo ponies in the next shoot (I would not object)!

That round purse now belongs to my mom, It was too cute to pass up, I'll probably be borrowing it sooner or later!

In true behind the scenes fashion here is a shot of the photographer/shop owner doing her thing!
 Crazy story time!
My cousin Sidney wore this dress to a school formal but Kim bought it from someone else over a hundred miles away, it really is a small world!

This was another favorite, I felt like I should be working an old carnival telling fortunes!

A close up because I love the detail!
I hope you enjoyed the little behind the scenes of this photo shoot with sassysistervintage!
You can shop these items and many more Here.
It was so nice meeting Azurea and working with her as well!

If you are a lover of vintage and all things with a history then you have probably been drooling over these old suitcases and trunks!
Yes, all of them belong to kim, the three of us stacked and arranged the pile you see behind me.
Isn't it glorious?
It makes me feel like we took these in front of the lost and found luggage of grand central station in the 1950's!
Oh to see what these old suitcases have seen and to be where they have been.
