Pink Lace

 This outfit was so sweet and with valentines day just around the corner I couldn't help thinking this would be the perfect little outfit for someone!

 Azurea in a 1920's drop waisted dress, I love this lighting!

 This 1940's dress is amazing!!!

If I had a Valentines day formal this would be the dress I choose!

 This slip is the prettiest coral color, it looked so great on Azurea.

 As much as I love the pink gown, this ensemble is still my favorite! ^^

Vanity Fair

Welcome to the wedding expo that took place in the Chipley AG center.

I was asked to help decorate the BrennaBeauty booth as well as be a hair model by Brenna.

Here are some behind the scenes photos from before, during and after the wedding expo. 

Brenna and Caroline carefully selecting the pictures of hair and makeup work from Brenna's portfolio.

I helped of course but someone had to document! :) 

The idea for the booth was a vintage vanity set up.

I always get nostalgic when I see an old vanity and wonder how many times and how many people have used it for putting on their lipstick and making sure their hair was just right.

Although I didn't bring my entire vanity I did bring a few pieces that rest on it everyday.

We displayed several photos in one large vintage frame by placing Brenna's card holder behind the frame and propping the entire thing against a metal dress form that Caroline has had for years.

The bridal bouquet that we used was actually Brenna's mother's from her wedding day!

Just a fun fact for everyone! ^_^

The jewelry box is one of my favorite vintage finds and one of the things I keep on my own vanity!

While I didn't wear a wedding dress I did wear a vintage white dress that was reminiscent of one!

The dress was one that I got from Kim of SassySisterVintage and it's one of my favorites!

Spanish moss is so pretty and one great indicator that you are in the south!

 The sun was directly in my face but this is the only picture that really shows the entire dress at once!

Vintage Treasure

Just a look at my ever growing vintage rhinestone earring collection!

There is something special about vintage, especially if it's jewelry.

There is something almost magical about imaging the event the original owner attended while wearing these bits of sparkle. 

Who they danced with, what they wore and what was the hottest new song.

 (Hopeless romantic over here! I know I'm not the only one who was born in the wrong time period!)

I have had and intend to have many more memories while wearing my vintage treasures.

Then one day whoever has these earrings might, just might, wonder about me too.

The Spring of 1945

I like to pretend the year is 1945 and the end of the war is still fresh on everyone's minds.

 For Hannah that means Tom, the boy next door, will come home and find a beautiful young woman took the place of the cute kid who followed him around everywhere.

Boy is he in for a surprise! 

 I was so happy to be a part of this little photo shoot today! 

Styling it was a blast and taking my baby (Camera) to the beach for the first time was so exciting! 

The cutie pie in the pictures wanted something different for her Senior Portraits, 

So this fun shoot was the outcome.

We were going for Vintage yet current, Senior Portraits that won't fade with the fads.  

Of course these are a little bit like behind the scenes shots since I was the Stylist/Makeup Artist  

and Nikki Jordan Elmore was Head Photographer.
