Center Part

 One of yesterday's sets for the SassySisterVintage photo shoot.

 These dresses were all so amazing and I loved every aspect of this shoot!

 The cowhide is the same one we used in the Down The Rabbit Hole shoot!

 The boots and rings are mine but the dress can be found on etsy in SassySisterVintage's shop!

 So this dress was actually my favorite! 

 It reminds me of Mongolia, especially next to the animal hide and mixed textiles.

 The center part was Kim's doing, I always feel self conscious with a center part, I feel like it makes my face look funny!

I know it's actually quite silly of me to think so in depth about a simple hair parting!

But in the end it wasn't that bad and I will probably part it down the middle a little bit more in the future!

 This hat was awesome I loved the texture and color! 

 How the hat is probably supposed to be worn!

 The turquoise ring I bought on one of my trips to Manhattan and the purple jade ring is from my mom. 

 The shrug and dress will be available in the SassySisterVintage shop as well!

Also I know my calves look ginormous but in actuality they are not nearly as fierce as they appear! 

 The dress is 1940's and fabulous!

All of the amazing set styling that you see is done by Kim and myself! 

A lot of times she tells me what she wants and I help her move it! ;)

But since we do these photo shoots in her home we always use things that she already has!

This green chair is a new addition that she has added and I am in love!

Things just aren't made the way that they used to be!

Down The Rabbit Hole

As you can see I just had another photo shoot with Kim of SassySisterVintage.

Seriously this is probably one of my favorite ones that we've done together!

I think it's pretty obvious that my favorite outfit today was this beautiful white dress that can easily be worn as a wedding dress!

So the story behind the awesome styling today was a great collaboration between Kim and I!

She recently moved into her new home(It's FABULOUS!) and took all of her things out of storage!

Including this amazing cow hide rug I openly covet, So I asked if we shooting anything today that would work laying down on this bad boy?

She then suggested the dress(Perfect) and I said I wish we had an old record player to have in the shot.

Well she didn't have a record player but she did have this beautiful type writer that turned out probably BETTER than the record player!

I love it because it makes me think of Alice falling down the rabbit hole/ Snow White.

(Which is what my love calls me sometimes, due to my lack of pigment! :)

Fedora and Fur

I know the picture isn't focused but I still wanted you to see this super cute outfit

and I had already moved on to the next outfit when we realized it!

Today I brought along my wide brimmed fedora and we made good use of it by styling it with some of the vintage.

I love this hat even though it's a little loose on my head, the wind was pretty strong and it almost blew it off of my head, I need to get one of those liners that makes it fit more snugly. 

The weather was pretty gray all day long so the lighting was in and out but like always it all worked out!

The last two pictures are from my way home!

If you ever need to see something beautiful just look up to the sky.

Even when it is dark and cloudy there is always beauty to be found there.
