It's that time of the year when the reality of life ahead starts to sink in for high school seniors.
To document this momentous occasion we have Senior portraits.
A senior portrait is a glimpse at the adolescence you are leaving behind, a frozen moment of who you are and a nod to the person you are preparing to become.
This is my beautiful cousin Taran who asked me to be a part of this special moment.
Here we are the piece de resistance!!!
I asked Taran the night before the shoot if it would be alright to take some of the pictures in last year's prom dress.
To my utter delight, she said yes!!!
The next pictures are the result of perfect weather, a gorgeous subject and a growing hobby.
