In-Between

This is an OOTD for those in-between days.

If you live in a place like Florida where the weather has major mood swings, you know what I'm talking about!

Yesterday was one of those days where you could get away with a light jacket but if you are going out until the evening when the temperatures drop than you should probably dress in layers.

I went Shopping all day with my sister Megan and then met my parents in the evening to go see Meet the Mormons.

Both activities were so fun and I didn't feel too hot or too cold when temperatures began to drop.

The vintage pieces I'm wearing are the scarf, belt and shorts!

The sunglasses are TOMS and I ADORE them!

I've never bought nice sunglasses for myself simply because I'm afraid of loosing, breaking or disliking them soon after buying them!

Every time I walked into Eagle Eye Outfitters I went to the case and tried them on, it was so bad that the last time I was in there one of the employees said "I heard you finally got those TOMS sunglasses." Apparently my lust was very obvious and I haven't regretted my purchase yet!

Okay I think I've talked about sunglasses a little bit too long!

Lovely Ladies

It's never a dull moment when we all get together!

You might recognize Kayla from the Making Marilyn  photo shoot although she probably looks different.

 She has recently joined the dark side... Literally... She's a brunette now!!!

The rest of the girls you haven't seen, Kelli is Kayla's little sister (as if you couldn't already tell) and Alex is my "Twin" we're the same height and have scary similarities.

 (We recently found out that we were in an identical minor car accident in the exact same place!) 

They are all such lovely ladies and I am so blessed to be able to call them friends!!! 

We are all spread out now so it was nice to have a day where we could all just hang out, relive old memories and create new ones!

It was $0.99!!!

 I found this fabulous hat last week after my dentist appointment in Alabama. 

Where did I stumble upon this beaut, you might ask. If you haven't guessed by the title I bought it at the thrift shop for, drum roll please, $1.00!!! So it wasn't $0.99 but come on it was too close not to use the Macklemore - Thrift shop reference!

The instant I saw it my mind flew to Audrey Hepburn fishing in Paris France while Fred Astaire took her photograph. Funny Face is the name of the film and I recommend it to anyone 

who loves Audrey, Fashion, Paris Or all three! So in honor of the Hat inspiration I kept the french theme

with the navy strips and rolled trousers. The Leopard belt and red clutch keep the look fresh and lend a nice pop to the ensemble, While the Oxfords and the Pearls keep it classy.
